Peggy’s Ride of a Lifetime
Join us on July 29th, 2023 as we kick off our First Annual motorcycle ride “Peggy’s Ride of a Lifetime” from the Chrome Thunder and Blues weekend motorcycle rally in Alliston for ALS Canada research.
Registration begins at 9am, KSU at 11am, proceeding then with a planned and organized ride led by those awesome guys from Samsara Saints RC and our very own Team member Alex Vegas throughout Simcoe County, with one food and gas stop and then returning at 2pm for Live Entertainment, food, fun and prizes for those that raised the most money through pledges.

Cost is $25.00 per rider, $25.00 per passenger or simply donate.

This event was created for the love of our friend Harry Dunbar and the love he still holds close to his heart for his wife Peggy Tahir who passed away on February 4th, 2019 of the cruel and inhumane disease ALS.
Before Peggy had passed away she lived life to its fullest and with an inner strength that could move mountains and her last request was for Harry to raise awareness to the lack of, if not zero funding from the government for ALS Research.
We always think “It cannot happen to us”, but it can and this was why it was Peggy’s wish. She wanted to keep moving mountains even after she had passed and make a difference for someone else suffering from ALS. With proper funding for this research hopefully they can find a cure for an incurable disease that renders you to the point you cannot even eat, swallow or speak.

You can also just simply donate through the ride registration link. Tax receipts will be issued directly from ALS Canada and because we appreciate your support you could win some of the great prizes we will be announcing for top participant donations, top participant within a Team and Top Team in total donations gathered.
