WHY BECOME A MEMBER?

Over the years of doing this, we have become a major Staple in the Riding community for motorcycles. The majority of our support and help has been through the motorcycle community and fortunately, by doing so, we have gained a very highly reputable name for our support group.
We have helped almost every type of case/scenario. We have helped all the families and Riders get everything they need, including setting them in the proper direction and helping guide them throughout their journey.

Our support group not only helps get the ball rolling and get the survivors in touch with whom they need to be in touch with, but we are there from the get-go and are there for life. Our support is 24/7, 7 days a week and even once the riders are recovered we still maintain a relationship with them and their families and ride together.

Memories And The People You Meet

For the past six years of being heavily involved in the motorcycle and power sport community, The Fallen Riders have travelled the entire province of Ontario. In doing so we’ve created relationships with thousands of riders, businesses and associates spanning across all of Ontario, and involvement in many parts of the other Canadian provinces, the United States, and the UK. The Fallen Rider Support Team in conjunction Harley Davidson by being a sponsor and sponsored at these Harley Davidson dealerships in Ontario, Black bridge, Durham, Clare’s, Clare’s Cycle and The Rock in Sudbury.

With the relationships we’ve built over the years, whether planning an event or heading out on our motorcycles, snowmobiles or 4 wheelers, have turned into great long-lasting friendships, not only with the people in our community but also with the dealerships that support us. Wherever we go across this great province of ours we are always welcomed with open arms, a friendly face, great memories, or stories to share like these.

While travelling and attending thousands of small town shows we have tried to support as many small businesses as we can along the way staying at bed and breakfasts and hotels to try to support locals as much as possible.

Coming Together

The Fallen Rider Support Team had successfully organized and run our snowmobile winter festival show in the muskokas called sledapaloosa. We were setting up our second show in the west Nipissing Region after attending the Christmas parade and creating our winter festival float to promote the show in the region.

We arrived in March and started to assemble the property and prepare it for the event. Members of the event crew were working Tirelessly with the landowners to prepare things as the snow was deep and wasn’t being too cooperative for us. After hammering in by hand over 200 metal snow fence stakes and wiring up the snow fence to a close in the amateur race track for the timing system and snowmobiles to record the speed of the snowmobiles we started to get some phone calls about the pandemic.

We had the front end loaders and landscapers out running to level the snow off for where the spectators and vendors were going to be set up the next day after arrival when we got the call. Please keep in mind this was one day before the event was about to happen and was being broadcasted on television and the radio our phone rang telling us that we wouldn’t be able to get insurance because the university in Sudbury at shut down due to covid and it was a worldwide pandemic that was starting.

So as you can imagine all the hard work came to a halt and the removal of all the equipment and everything that we had set up had to be taken down and packed back up and brought back home with us when we left West Nepessing. Over the last 18 months of the pandemic we all stayed in great spirits and in touch with the townships and they are all still extremely happy to have us.

During our time of setting up when this happened the Comfort Inn in West Nipissing was amazing. They had hosted our entire snowmobile winter festival team as a sponsor and are still a great set of friends of ours. The West Nipissing snowmobile club and friends were and all are still extremely supportive and it has all made us stronger as one.

Friendships that last a Lifetime

The Fallen Riders were over in Trenton and we had to meet on the army base and walk into the army base to meet with a group that was organizing a PTSD and service dog charity ride that we sponsored. When we arrived we went into the military base and proceeded to go into the building that we thought was the correct building and quickly realized that we definitely were in the wrong building after walking through it for a little while and being greeted by the Canadian Air Forces.

Apparently the word traveled fast about us being lost so when we walked in fashionably late it was a bit of a laugh . Once we got sorted we found the building where the meeting was taking place and we got to know the entire group very well and rode back down a couple months later on our motorcycles to attend the ride that went off without a hitch raising a lot of money for a great cause.

One of the gentlemen has remained extremely close with The Fallen Rider Support Team and actually is the organizer and lead in our motorcycle rally ride for jump start charity and creates the ride with stops every year for our event and has for the past 4 years.

When it rains it pours

We were over in Chatham-Kent supporting and sponsoring the Big Brothers Big Sisters there and doing a motorcycle show when tornado-like weather came down upon the show event, breaking a lot of vendors’ tents and causing the show to be stopped for sometime.

While this was happening our tent was one of the only ones that wasn’t affected by the weather and everybody seemed to huddle underneath hours and try and stay dry. There were probably 20 to 25 people all under a 10 x 10 tent with the table as a shield to stop him from flying into us.

We were hanging onto it pretty tight.

Once the wind and hail finally stopped and we all came out from under the tent we all met over by the stage and the organizers decided to open the event back up. Once the pa system dried up the shows music started back up and we all had a laugh about huddling under The Fallen Rider tent with the singer of the band talking about it to the crowd.

All the vendors that were under our tent we have remained friends with and they attend our Motorcycle and snowmobile winter festival shows.
